~ Assistant Restaurant Manager ~ Front of House Server ~

Pasture is a Two Hat Restaurant in Auckland that has recently won Cuisine Magazine's Best Drinks List and Chef of the Year. We are Metro's Best New Restaurant of 2017, and were nominated in 5 other categories. We are looking for passionate front of house team members who want to work somewhere small and special.


We're looking for someone hands-on and with initiative to be Laura's wingperson. This role involves set-up and involvement in our drinks programme, and limited amounts of admin... leaving you to focus on what matters most to us: a great service!

Here's some more information about the role and what it involves:

1. Owning the floor and taking absolute pride in the presentation of the restaurant, FOH processes and contributing to a smooth, excellent service.

2. Delivering our wine/drinks pairings for our set menu and our drinks list. A passion for natural wines is essential, as is experience in bar techniques, and an engaging, personable approach to delivering our pairings. 90% of our diners choose to do one of our pairings. Our head chef currently designs the Pasture pairings.

3. Working synergistically with the owners to take Pasture to the next level of excellence in service. This role is for someone who wants to work hard to make their mark in hospitality in Auckland and be supported by us to do so. The ability to communicate clearly and joining us with the knowledge you are part of a growing team in our second year of operation is important. We're innovative, fast-paced and pursue excellence from ourselves and our team. We want someone dynamic who will relish the opportunities Pasture provides to be creative and push boundaries.

4. As a small business, you'll need to get involved in all aspects of service as a hardworking team member.

We're looking for someone to join us for service. The role includes delivering pairings, table service and completing all FOH duties at the end of the night with the service team.

This is a waged role of approximately 20 hours but can increase as our bookings increase.

Our ideal team member is passionate about natural wines and unique drinks, and creating great experiences for guests.
